Scholarship

Membership in SAE cannot be achieved without a good scholastic record.  Just as "success breeds success," so do "scholars breed other scholars." SAE seeks to create a culture that expects high academic performance.  SAE has structured its pledge program to ease the transition from high school to college.  Each year, the Mom's Club awards a scholarship to the freshman that earns the highest grade point in his class.  The freshman pledge class grade point aveage, as well as that of the entire fraternity, has consistently ranked among the highest of all fraternities on campus. Just this past year, SAE ranked #1 in GPA for the fall 2009 semester and #3 for spring 2010 among all fraternities.
