- The Alpha-Upsilon Chapter is the largest SAE chapter in the nation.
- SAE has the greatest number of initiates nationally of any Greek Letter Organization at 282,000 men.
- SAE raised more money for community service in the past year than any other Greek organization.
- SAE was the first fraternity to be established in the South, having been founded at the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, on March 9, 1856.
- The University of Arkansas Alpha-Upsilon Chapter of SAE was founded on July 9, 1894, making out chapter 116 years old.
